A Dear Friend

This blogpost is about our dear friend Michael. 

Who's Michael for me? Michael Kurt Busa Babay is a person that I can say one of my best friends. We have known each other for 6 years. I first met him when we were Grade 3. On our first day, our teacher introduced our seating arrangement for the quarter. Michael was the seatmate of the person at my back. My seatmate, Michael and I talked about Hollywood until  different words then came up with "-wood" like Sexywood and the like. Yeah, it's very childish yet that word made our day particularly our friendship. On the following day, me and Michael talked a lot. About different things and even our favorite show, Encantadia. We later on played every afternoon as one of the characters of the show. I'm playing Pirena (Fire) while he's Amihan (Wind) together with our new friend Patrick.:) We're so 'corny' that time. :)) Before our Grade 3 days would reach its end, we wished to be classmates again in Grade 4. The wish then came true. When we were in Grade 4, we had our first crush. Coincidence, we had a crush on the same person. We doesn't took it as a rivalry but as something that we share in common. Grade 4 days added to the memorable moments in our lives. 

In Grade 5 up until First Year, we didn't became classmates, putting somehow a boundary between us and on our friendship. It came to the point that we didn't talked that much to each other. Awkwardness, maybe. I'm really not sure. But later on, we became okay again, became close before we end the school year of our freshmen days. Until, he announced that he will be leaving the country and would not be able to enroll for second year. I was saddened with the news knowing that I've wasted a couple of chances for us to bond. 

Michael has been a very, very good friend. He proved that through his sense of humor he can surpass all the problems that he is facing. I'm really proud of what he had become now. I love Michael not as a friend but a sibling. That is Michael for me. :)

Yesterday (January 14, 2012) was planned for us to be reunited with our dear friend Michael. Maybe, our last time to meet before his departure on the 21st. </3 Anyway, we had 2 meeting places, first is at Monty's while the other one is at Keith's. I went to Keith's at past 10:30 in the morning. Upon arriving, Ram, Nathan and Wilfred was already there. We fixed ourselves for a short time then excitedly went to Monty's house to wait for Michael to arrive. Upon Michael's arrival, we excitedly went outside of the house to see him and his LONG BANGS (kaw na teh). HAHA. We, ate our lunch at QC Circle and waited until the Circle of Fun to be opened. Twas a fun, exciting day filled with much longing and love. 

WE WILL MISS YOU MICHAEL.

Happy Birthday to the Ultimate Multimedia Star

Toni Gonzaga

Toni Gonzaga (Celestine Cruz Gonzaga in real life), started her career by being asked to do a commercial for a product in TV giving her the tagline, "I LOVE YOU PIOLO." Later on, she became one of the host of  the noontime show, Eat Bulaga in GMA. Then, moved to its rival network, ABS-CBN. Her first project was being one of the original hosts of the first reality show in the Philippines, Pinoy Big Brother, together with Mariel Rodriguez, and Willie Revillame. The show was owned by Endemol (an international networking company). The show highlighted her talent upon hosting. Opening a door on becoming one of the hosts of The Buzz. She later on, hone her singing career in ASAP (Sunday Variety Show). Star Records, the record label owned by ABS-CBN, produced many albums of Toni. Two of these became Gold Record while one achieved the Platinum Record. She was also signed by Star Cinema. She made numerous movies and lately reigned as the Box-Office Queen in SM Cinemas for My Amnesia Girl. 

With her bubbly personality, she surpassed many endeavors that came in her life giving her the title of  The Ultimate Multimedia Star. 

On her special day, I made this blog post. It's pretty obvious that I'm a huge fan of her, by the way I remembered all her previous projects. FYI: These are not copy-paste. :)

Movie Time 1.2

This second blog post is somehow related to "Movie Time 1.1". January 1, me and my mom watched one of the official entry for the MMFF (Metro Manila Film Festival) 2011. The movie is entitled "SEGUNDA MANO". The main characters are, Kris Aquino, Dingdong Dantes and Angelica Panganiban. I can say that this movie is more of a suspense movie than a horror one. It has exciting twists that would make the story bloom more. 

After watching the movie, I'm really impressed of the performance that Bangs Garcia showed to this movie. She may not be chosen as the MMFF Best supporting actress, I'm sure that doors would be open for her career. 

Movie Time 1.1

Last January 1 (Sunday), I'm searching videos to watch in YouTube. Unintentionally, I found a video that has "TEKKEN BLOOD VENGEANCE PART 1" as its title. I was curious so I watched it. It is a Tekken MOVIE made by Namco which is obviously animated ( I prefer this one than the one that Hollywood made). In the first scene it shows my favorite character in Tekken, Nina Williams, facing an ambush led by her rival sister, Anna Williams. It's really a tough and fiery fight between them. Dazzled of what I saw, I searched for the full movie. Then I found it, finally. With the help of YouTube Downloader, I saved it to my USB. The next day, I watched it. The movie is not just about full pack action but also teaches you how to value friendship just like Xiaoyu and Alisa did. :)

My Christmas gift for myself. I bought this earlier (December 27, 2011). I'm really dazzled with Rihanna's  new songs. My favorite in the album are, Where Have You Been, We Found Love and Farewell. This is an amazing album because it's all worth it. :)
